IBPS RRB Recruitment notification 2017-18 out | IBPS exams dates

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a common examination for recruitment of office assistants and officers in regional rural banks (RRB). 

This year, the IBPS RRB exam notification seems to have leaked on social media for now as there is no notification on the official website of IBPS, ibps.in As per the notification that is doing rounds on various websites, the online application process is scheduled to start from from July 12, 2017 onwards. 

Important dates: Closing date of online registrations: August 1, 2017 

Preliminary exam dates for Officer (scale I): September 9, 10, and 16; 

Office Assistant: September 17, 23, and 24. 

Main exam: November 5 for Officer scale 1, 2, 3 and Office Assistant on November 12. Vacancies: 

A total of 14,192 vacancies are announced across 56 regional rural bank in various states and districts of India. 

Eligibility conditions: 

1. Candidates applying for Office assistant post should be between 18 - 28 years of age. For Officer (scale 1), it has to be between 18 to 21 years and for Officer scale 2, 
2. The age limit is 21 to 32 years.The applicants for Officer scale 3 need to be between 21 to 40. 
3. Candidates must also have completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. 
4. They must also have proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s.
5. Working knowledge of Computers is also a desirable qualification.
