Chennai’s first underground metro train from Nehru Park to Koyambedu will reportedly be opened for public from Sunday. According to reports, a metro rail official had confirmed the roll out of the service and also added that they had completed trail runs and finishing touches to all the stations. Notably, the underground metro will also cover stations like KMC, Shenoy Nagar, Anna Nagar East, Thirumangalam, etc.
